I have no idea what happened but I loved it. The writing, sound effects, art style, all of it. Wonderful little experience.
Is there anything after following the mysterious figure in the locked room back to the abstraction? It seems the game loops here but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything from this magical game.
Been a while, but if I remember correctly, that was the end. This was actually supposed to just be a snippet of a longer game. The game would continue from there and was initially planned to be x9 as long as this snippet (naively), and there would be 9 doors all around that center void-like area that would sequentially unlock with each level played (a level being like the library area).
I was hoping the story would make sense when this was in development, but I wasn't that good at writing during that time :((
Either way, thanks so much for playing!
what a cool little game! i hope more people play this!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
